Chop Shop Bbq Grill

If anyone asks where the best BBQ in town is, (imo) Chop Shop is where it’s at! The food is incredible AND the service is super friendly. The food is clearly made with a passion for good quality and care for their customers. Just be aware that it’s located inside the gas station and don’t forget to grab an extra side of banana pudding.

My family was looking for some barbecue while out on 6 forks. We googled barbecue and found the Chop Shop and really ended up enjoying it. The food is great. The service was very nice. One just has to be aware, it's tacked on the back of a gas station. It didn't bother us at all. It's somewhat separated from the inside of the gas station and we enjoyed a really good lunch. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Meh. Two pulled pork plates and a side each of cowboy beans and Brunswick stew. The quantity served was generous and the hush puppies were good but that 's about it. I 'm guessing that the que is shoulder rather than whole hog but this isn 't Western Carolina style as another reviewer suggested. No pepper, either black or red, and the sauce is just too sweet. I was content with the smoke flavor, my dining partner found it lacking. I put the word cowboy above in quotation marks because I have no idea what makes the beans cowboy ish. They 're served in a greasy, thin liquid with large clumps of ground beef and more sweet sauce. The stew suffers from a similar problem too thin and too sweet. I feel like the food could be good if they cut back on the sugar and tightened up the sides but based on the insanely laudatory reviews I 'm seeing here, sugary que is what people want.

Don 't let the location of a gas station fool you. This place is great ??. The pulled pork sandwich and mac 'n cheese was top rate. This is the best deal around for the
