Margaritas Mexican - Methuen

There is definitely an issue with the food at this restaurant. Every dish had a strange chemical taste, without exception. My guests and I ordered guacamole as an appetizer, and I had fish tacos while my guests had chicken tenders and chicken fajitas. After taking just one bite of the guacamole, we all noticed something was off. We then tried our main dishes, but the strange taste persisted. The server could see that we barely touched our food, yet did not inquire about the problem or offer a refund. It seems like she is accustomed to customers not eating their meals. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and a waste of $75.

The customer service was terrible. The waiter was too busy flirting with another server to attend to our table. It took ages for him to clear away the dirty dishes. On a positive note, the drinks were good. However, when I spoke to the manager about the issue, he was unhelpful and refused to address the problem. This will be my first and last visit to this restaurant. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

The restaurant experience was disappointing. The food was subpar and the service was even worse. Despite watching the waiter attend to nearby tables multiple times, they never bothered to check on us. Eventually, we decided to give up on the meal and left it practically untouched with napkins still on the plates, waiting for the check. After being ignored by the waiter multiple times, we had to seek out the hostess for our check. Eventually, a manager came over but mistakenly gave the check to the wrong table. After that was sorted out, we were ready to pay and leave. However, when we returned the check, the manager asked if we wanted to take our leftover food home, which had used napkins on it. It seemed that other customers were receiving better service, likely due to their consumption of alcohol. While alcohol may improve the service at Margarita’s, it won't make the food any better. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant, especially if you're not planning on running up a bar tab.

The food was good, but unfortunately, the dining experience was dampened by the slow and inattentive service. Our server seemed more focused on their phone and chatting with colleagues behind the server station.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and definitely won't be my last. The service was lacking, but since I was with a group of friends, we weren't too concerned about it.
