The different opinions seemed catastrophic but as sometimes the opinions are not objective we try anyway... So in terms of reception, I would say neutral, the boss installed us without any more attention than that but without being unpleasant either. There were 4 of us, we had 3 pizzas and pesto pasta. The pizzas are not catastrophic, the ingredients are of average quality, the tomato sauce which serves as a base is really not great, very strong in taste and a little acidic... I think it is a base to work but not a ready-to-use tomato sauce. On my Savoyard pizza, steamed potatoes cut into pieces, raw onions and smoked ham, plus I think 2 slices of raclette cheese. Not bad in absolute terms but not unforgettable either, all garnished with a ton of oregano which of course provides a salty taste that is very difficult to convey. The classic 4 cheese pizza with our good old industrial goat cheese log, grana shavings, blue cheese and tomme. The problem is that it all has very little taste and the dough is undercooked. The pasta, so that was the apotheosis... I 'll let you see the photo of the pesto pasta. I know pesto a little, I cook it with fresh basil at home, it is mostly green, sometimes red but rarely different, there it was purple... and without any flavor, according to the waiter, it was because of the beet.... the beet? In a pesto? Why not... but no, overcooked pasta, tasteless and bathed in its cooking juices with olive oil added to it is too much. This is the first time that we have had to send a dish back to the kitchen and yet if you read my comments I think I am one of the tolerant ones... So on the advice of the waiter who seemed as embarrassed as he was used to this style of situation, we ordered a bruschetta. Same observation, too much acidic tomato, the chicken still cold, the cheese in raw chips (see photos)... let it go. Not a word from the owners when leaving who don 't wonder why their dish went in the trash... or don 't care! In conclusion, tourist trap with a view of the port, to escape urgently!!! Small note of humor (or not) to finish the message is clear in the toilets, please wash after doing what you had to do (see photo)
We went there at the end of July we were 2 tables 3 people in all the waitress takes our order serves us the appetizers and leaves at 8 p.m. her service is over we waited for our pizzas small dough not great frozen topping too bad we are in a port the seafood is not fresh. We never got the wine ordered. More than ordinary ice cream. Expensive evening
Other restaurants are clearly more popular in the port (like the Bistrot du Port) but if they are rammed and you turn up on spec you look elsewhere. I think other reviews are unfair and we enjoyed our lunch. The pizzas were good as was the goats cheese salad. Worth a try and you get a view of the sea and channel, unlike the Bistrot du Port.
Pleasant welcome despite our late arrival, smiling and polite staff, homemade fries and good meat. ratio quality excellent price. small plus, wc clean
Fast and smiling service. pizza without pretention at the filling level but good fine paste well blown. sufficient size: we had no hunger for dessert. the opinions could have deterred us, but frankly, we wonder if some are not a little exaggerated. No pasta on the map, especially. look for the error... in brief pizza and burgers have disappeared from the plates without comment of the hard teen. We don't regret our arrest.
