Zushi Japanese Bistro - Mesa

If I could give a -10 rating, I would do it immediately. First time going and trying this place out. I went with my friends and the girl that was our waitress gave us the worst attitude ever right after I asked her if I could change my plate. She slammed the plate right when she took it from me. She brought the other plate out and just shoved it right between my arms and didn’t even say excuse me. Once we finished everything she brought our receipts back and the cloth rag we use to clean the table she tossed it towards me with food in it. My friend forgot her card and she went back inside and she gave it to her and said something along the line of don’t come back we’ll refuse service. She walked away with an attitude. Keep personal problems at home and that attitude.

I absolutely love this places!! I love getting their California rolls deep fried or normal. Absolutely amazing team.Food: 5/5

Well.. I don 't usually do review on take out since it 's really not the same as sitting down and getting dish made to order on a plate.But oh boy... I guess that 's what I get for ordering Chinese food at Japanese Bistro . I would give it one star but I have not tried the Japanese side of the food.. But I doubt I would ever go back here again. So bad it wasn 't even worthy of taking pics.Ordered orange chicken, schezwan garlic beef, and beef lo mein noodle dish. The 3 dishes cost me $59 . Orange chicken was well maybe triple fried chewy chicken with no orange flavor. You ever eat something where it taste like it 's been fried over and over? Yeah.. That was the chicken.. Very hard and chewy chicken..Chezwan garlic beef, looked more like garlic beef with some chillies thrown in there. Lo mein was actually better tasting of all three dishes. Have you ever eat those beef at some dumpy Chinese restaurant and you chew on the beef and they are slimy and chewy? Yeah this place had them. For having a title as Bistro I was surprised to taste the meat at such low quality and questonal texture.Not to mention price was not cheap for the quality of the food. You know it 's bad after you eat and you are thinking to yourself.. Dang.. I think I would have had better luck at panda express... Only plus side of this place was that they gave me good size rice with the dishes...So. Yeah I would never come back to this place.

As a restaurant owner, I am highly disappointed. I’m visiting in town, was really excited for this place because of the reviews but man. What a waste..For starters, the place was empty on a Sunday at 7pm.. I should’ve known better from the start.Service.. server was nice, but not attentive what so ever. Did not once check on how our food was, we waited 20 min for our check bc she was hiding in the back.. she didn’t even give us a pen when handing us our check.. are we joking?Bathrooms, O M G absolutely awful, cracked toilet dust on the compartment holding the toilet paper (so much dust) water stains on the handles in the bathroom sinks… to the point they definitely do not show it has been cleaned in. Awhile. Cleaning spray on top of the counter lol.. it’s almost laughable because how is that even acceptable?Then on top of all of that, these reviews.. the owners or managers response is uncalled for argumentative.I have provided pictures in case the manager wants to get argumentative and claim all these negative reviews are false.Please do better or you’ll be yet another sushi place that could’ve been great closing down due to neglect poor managementUpdate 20 min later, my friend is sick in the bathroom.. stay away

Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Favorites are the sunny beaches roll, Philadelphia roll, and the tiger roll. The sunny beaches roll is pretty much a must have every time I go here. Potstickers and shrimp tempura are fantastic! Even the regular dishes like the sweet and sour chicken are very high quality. Only problem is the wait times dining in take out is better.
