Zio's Pizza Wings - Mesa

Stopped by randomly mid afternoon. Pizza by the slice. Super thin pizza, I love that. Cooked perfectly. We had cheese and pepperoni slices.

Was told by a friend that this pizza spot has good food. Drove all the way from my place in Mesa to come pick up pizza since I had a craving. I ordered for take out and decided to have a slice before leaving. The crust is perfect. It has the perfect amount of crunch on the outside. And it's not too greasy even though I ordered extra cheese. Also, everyone was kind and courteous! This place was definitely worth the drive and will definitely be a returning customer.

After a long session, there weren’t many places open. I tried the pizza and cinnamon bites from this restaurant for the first time. While I appreciate that it stays open late, I won't be ordering from here again.

I ordered through DoorDash, and unfortunately, both the pizza and garlic bread were completely burned. They would have been enjoyable otherwise.

I'm really happy to have a late-night option besides Waffle House or Jack in the Box because the pizza here is fantastic. I definitely recommend picking it up instead of getting it delivered, as we had some issues with delivery during our one experience. There have been a few hiccups when picking up as well, but the staff is incredibly friendly and quick to resolve any problems—most of them are just minor and easy to fix. Be sure to try the BBQ chicken pizza with added bacon; it’s absolutely delicious! Just a reminder to be kind and understanding, as many places are short-staffed right now. A simple “please” and “thank you” can make all the difference. Thanks, Zio!
