Tortas El Chavo - Mesa

You may spend a little more on these tacos, but they're definitely worth it. They’re a favorite in my family!

I've visited this restaurant multiple times and generally had a good experience, but this visit was disappointing. They got three of our orders wrong — I ordered a burger with white cheese but received one with American cheese instead. The same issue happened with the second burger, and the torta de colita de pavo I ordered had jalapeños, even though I specifically requested for them to be removed. Mistakes happen, but the kitchen staff really needs to pay more attention to orders. It seems like they were too distracted by the music and chatting among themselves.

I ordered a Hawaiian torta and really enjoyed it. The only drawback was that if you dine in, the sauce comes in a small disposable plate, which makes it difficult to spread on the torta. They used to have plastic bottles for the sauce, and I preferred that.

Amazing tortas! The Carne asada torta is my favorite. It smells amazing as soon as you walk in, they’re agua frescas are really good too, highly recommend, you can dine in or do takeout.

Delicious food. Wonderful people. All around a great place. Has become a weekly visit for myself and my husband.
