Pei Wei Asian Kitchen - Mesa

The portion sizes are small for the price, but I believe this is due to the current inflation problem. The dishes were fresh and tasty, although not as memorable as when I visited before. My grandchild seemed to enjoy their meal, which was my main goal.

My partner and I dined at Pei Wei on Thursday, 4/7/22 at this specific location. Unfortunately, we both ended up getting food poisoning. Have the restaurant staff been alerted about this incident?

Pei Wei was once my favorite Chinese food restaurant, but it's no longer the case. The quality of the food has drastically declined from a 10 to a 2. The chicken now seems to be dark meat and the flavor is not the same. The texture and taste of the chicken are disgusting. I recently visited the Pei Wei in Queen Creek and then again at Val Vista and Baseline, hoping for a better experience, but sadly that was not the case. I have decided to stop dining at Pei Wei altogether.

I am a fan of Pei Wei and will be going there for lunch tomorrow. My wife and I recently visited and both ordered the Pei Wei Spicy Chicken Salad. We like to customize it by asking for the chicken to be steamed and the dressing on the side. The sauce used to cook the chicken is flavorful enough for me, so I didn't need the extra dressing. We also enjoyed the edamame as an appetizer, you can never go wrong with edamame. Surprisingly, I also really liked their Orange Infused Iced Tea, which comes with orange slices to enhance the flavor. I wish I could just eat at restaurants and review them for a living because I get hungry every time I think about the delicious food at Pei Wei.

Wow this place has really gone down hill.The portions are tiny and the prices are way up.No plates or silverware.It’s all plastic.Horrible.AND they didn’t have the usual dressing for the Pei Wei Spicey Chicken salad. They used to have a delicious vinaigrette now all they have is disgusting ginger liquid.And the girl behind the register said “oh yeah, they discontinued all of the good stuff”.
