Mekong Palace Dim Sum Chinese - Mesa

We went to dinner and decided to stay because it was not busy. it was 7 o'clock and empty. the service was excellent and we all enjoyed the different dumplings. they bring a group because they want to try everything! The highlights include the suppenknödel and the crispy house noodles. we ordered a lot and spent $25 per person- 4 total.

Decent dim sum, they have more variety during lunch compared to the other places around them. I happened to be craving garlic spinach and their ginger chicken so I went to place a pick up order. Do yourself a favor and only visit if you have nothing planned as pick up orders can take a long time on busy hours I went on Sunday night-that’s kind of my fault and it took an hour). I sat and listened to the phone ring with no one there to answer it so forget phone in orders on the weekends. The way they run the restaurant is very chaotic. There is no set person at the cashier and the staff unfortunately do not know how to prioritize.They appear short most of the time and I can only really eat here on the weekday when no one comes. There has been a couple of instances where the silverware is not completely cleaned. You have been warned.

Many of the reviews I read gave this place a bad review; however I decided to check it out. I am sad to say the reviews were accurate. The food is not entirely bad, but the service and selection is mediocre at best. We spent most of our time hunting for carts to bring us food, because the cart ladies would not come around to our side of the restaurant. 2 other tables next to us were just as frustrated with the service. I am glad I tried it but I would go back.

Delicious dim sum. Rolling carts and the works!! We also ordered beef chow foon and there was definitely the aroma of the fire in the wok. Service was swift and friendly and harried. The place looked a bit worn out. Could use a face lift.

GO TO HANGS KITCHEN ‍? Best Kung pow chicken we have ever eaten!!! Always the freshest ingredients husband and wife owned husband and wife operated. If you love fish get the fish filet w/black bean sauce!! Steamed dumplings are the best outside of Hong Kong I have ever eaten! ??????????????
