Macayo's Mexican Food Mesa

The Mexican food here is average to good, but the service is really excellent. The atmosphere would be much better during warmer months when you can dine outside with a view of the lake.

Good food, our favorite server, and a quiet table to enjoy the evening.

The reception we attended was quite noisy due to a high-profile event nearby. The food was good, but our server could use some improvement. He seemed to mix up the utensils and handled the forks and knives in a way that felt careless. Additionally, he often touched his hair and then handled the serving trays without washing his hands, which was concerning. He also got our orders mixed up, which caused issues for someone in our party who doesn’t eat meat. Overall, it was a bit of a problematic experience.

We had a fantastic dining experience with reasonable prices. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our meal on the terrace, where the view was absolutely stunning.

Excellent Food and fantastic service. We went to Macayo's to celebrate my wife's birthday and were not let down. I had the Chicken Poblano and was raving about it the next day at work. We definitely will be returning soon.
