The tostada was crispy and delicious, while the agua chile was packed with flavor, featuring radishes, onions, cucumber, chopped cilantro, and jalapeños. The ambiance is very relaxed—it's not too loud, and the lighting is definitely fitting for a night out. The shrimp in the dish did seem pre-frozen, but the salsa had a fantastic kick to it. At $22, the agua chile is a bit on the pricey side, but the portion is generous enough to share between two people. They also have these amazing candle holders at the bar that look fantastic, along with real plants adorning the place. My server was extremely friendly and attentive throughout my visit. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this restaurant—it's a great spot for a date. The single-stall bathroom was very clean, which is always a plus!
The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the current economy (July 2022). The atmosphere is excellent, the service is friendly, and the cocktails are impressive. City Center Mesa has been in need of some new additions, and this place fits the bill perfectly. This is another concept by Rene Andrade (who also runs Bacanora in downtown Phoenix). While I can't say the food has quite reached the same level as Bacanora (which is outstanding), it is definitely a winner for seafood lovers. The cocktail menu is full of character, with some interesting twists on classic drinks.
We had an exceptional anniversary dinner at this restaurant. We sampled several dishes and cocktails, and each one was delicious. You can really tell that a lot of care has gone into creating this place. However, I have to say that the service was the highlight of our experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Espiritu, for a wonderful evening!
This place was great. eating was phenomenal, they have to make honest that the rock steak was a lasting element, it was so good. the way the drink menu was presented was unique and it made it interesting what they wanted. it's a little small, but I feel like it's really good with the atmosphere. I'm glad to come back.
My first time in and it was phenomenal! Cecilia made me some fantastic drinks and chef Roberto made me one of the best halibut ceviches I've ever had in my life. Thank you for a wonderful experience, I am happy
