Every time they close or I travel, I try to find Mexican food that compares to El Charro, but it’s always disappointing; I just can't find anything that comes close. Since the passing of Freddy, the founder, there have been some challenges, but I’ll always cherish your delicious food. Thank you for serving us, El Charro.

El Charro offers the best Mexican food in Arizona; everything else falls short. Even the tortillas are homemade, fresh, and flavorful enough to stand alone as a meal... they are utterly addictive.

El Charro offers the best Mexican cuisine in the valley, and it's our favorite place to dine. We enjoy visiting frequently because they have a wide variety of outstanding dishes to choose from. This restaurant is always bustling with customers, and it's no surprise since they have been serving up authentic Mexican food for 90 years! If you happen to drive by and see that they're open, be sure to stop in. You won't be disappointed.

What is not to love! No other one. The beauty of the family is first..

Grew up eating at El Charro. Love the green mix burro and the cheese crisp is awesome. We haven't found any other mexican food restaurant that comes close to El Charro food especially living in the southeast. Sure miss it!!!
