Mae Ping - Merton

The restaurant had been pre-arranged for a birthday event with around 25 guests. Guests had pre-selected their menu items, but upon arrival, the dishes were not prepared and orders had to be taken instead. There was a significant wait time of over 2 hours for the starters to be served, and it took 1.5 hours for the orders to be taken. The waitress apologized for the delays, but this communication should have come from the manager. A requested mocktail never arrived, and at the till, there was confusion about the items to be paid for. Other diners not in our party were served promptly, and some even left before our party had finished their first courses.

We visited this restaurant before going to the theatre, as it was close to New Wimbledon. We were very impressed with the service, atmosphere, and delicious food. The chicken satay was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place.

The food at this restaurant is incredible and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend it! Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. The food is top-notch and the staff are attentive, making for an all-around fantastic dining experience.

The food was really nice. We turned up slightly late for our booking and we were told they close at 3pm but we were not rushed and we weren’t told to leave at 3 they let us finish our meal

The best Thai food I have had in years… Panya was the most delightful and thoughtful server. The food was divine and really well priced and the wine menu was spectacular. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a delicious meal served with a smile. 5* from me
