China Garden - Merton

The food was fantastic and arrived promptly. The chicken balls were especially good with a generous amount of chicken. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is the second time I have had food from China Garden. The first, was an all you can eat, dine in. This, was a takeaway for 2 people. We were both craving a carb filled treat but were not satisfied… To keep with the veggie Jan them3, We ordered: Prawn balls more like tempura prawns (very small) Veggie chowmein steady Egg fried rice steady Chips soggy and a very small portion Satay sauce steady Curry sauce weak and uninspiring Overall, this whole meal was bland and not up to what I was expecting. Such a shame as my previous dine in here was great !!

It was delicious, the staff very friendly and helpful. The decoration could be a little bit more loving.

Food was great and well priced. The restaurant would do better if they played music during the night. We were majorly put off by a family of 2 men and 1 elderly woman with a child about 6 years old who urinated and did something else in a potty in the middle of the restaurant. Absolutely disgusting but not the staff or restaurants fault.

Love this place. However it’s really annoying they don’t advertise when it’s closed. Twice we have been waiting outside a big group of us and they come To the door and say it’s closed today. Even if they put it on the door. But food is great
