Island Gecko Grill - Merritt Island

Breakfast and lunch are served until 2:00 PM. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. The over-medium eggs were cooked perfectly, with firm whites and a nicely runny yolk, just as they should be. The bacon was crispier than I prefer, but it still tasted good. The sausage links were on the thinner side for breakfast sausage. Unfortunately, the ham didn’t meet my expectations; it was tough and lacked flavor. I also ordered a side of Tater Tots, which were decent. The coffee was standard, lacking any standout flavor. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, I was a bit frustrated to see my meal cost 50 cents more than the price listed on the menu. I’m not sure why that was the case, and I didn't inquire about it.

The food was fantastic! However, our waitress, Stephanie, truly exceeded our expectations. She was remarkable—great conversations, and we were impressed by her ability to handle the high-pressure environment while multitasking with such grace. She was simply outstanding!

The waitress was very pleasant and cheerful. She took my order accurately and I witnessed her giving a hug to a child with developmental disabilities. The food was delicious and quite unique. The walls were decorated with drawings of geckos, turtles, a manatee, and even jellyfish. The atmosphere was vibrant; I highly recommend this place!

Came here for breakfast while visiting friends. There was no waiting time to get a table, the server was very nice and got right on the four of us. Your menu is plentiful and we had no trouble finding something tasty. Our food got us right away, it was hot and the coffees were taken off. I tried the country breakfast Burrito. I'll give him two thumbs.

Solid breakfast and lunch spot in Merritt Island! Breakfast all day on Sun and breakfast and lunch all day every other day of the week. Lots of variety on both menus! The breakfast burrito is delicious (and huge! and the Gecko Spots (tater tots are hot and crispy! Their biscuits are some of the best in the area! Bright cheery atmosphere (despite the sad strip mall exterior , very friendly service, and definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!
