Tortilla Flat - Merrimack

The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. The decor is quite impressive too! The portion sizes are generous, and they are quick to serve you.

It was 95 degrees both outside and inside the restaurant, as their air conditioning had broken down. You know, the old unit on the roof that's been there for decades? It was unbearably hot...

I visited Tortilla Flat for the first time in 20 years, and it will be my last. The dish in the picture is the Chicken Enchiladas, which consisted of cubes of chicken wrapped in a soggy tortilla.

I stopped by with my wife for lunch around noon. There was no waitress in sight, so we seated ourselves in the bar area. After waiting for 5 minutes without any service, we decided to leave and went to Don Ramon's, where we enjoyed a fantastic lunch with excellent service.

The waitress took our order for nachos with sour cream and guacamole on the side, and everything seemed to be going well. However, when the nachos arrived, the sour cream and guacamole were missing. The waitress assured us she would bring them right away. After waiting 15 minutes, another staff member said he would retrieve the missing items. Another 20 minutes passed, and by that point, I had finished my meal. Eventually, I made my way to the bartender to settle my bill, as our server was nowhere to be found. Unfortunately, I never received the sour cream and guacamole. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1.
