Ihop - Merrillville

Nice staff but the cleanliness of the place is questionable. The coffee pot was dirty with some sort banana cream on it from the moment they sat us. They brought me a coffee mug to drink which was dirty as well. Just saw the gentleman sitting next to me also state their mug was dirty. I hope the kitchen is being cleaned better than their dishware.

I love the atmosphere at this restaurant, the people are friendly and really beautiful. The prices for the food were reasonable and the portion sizes were great. I especially enjoyed the outdoor seating option. There were only three other people sitting near us, which was nice. They also provided a self-serve coffee station, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend trying the pumpkin pancakes, they were delicious. Don't miss out on them, as they're only available for a limited time.

The restaurant was extremely clean and our server was both efficient and attentive. They got our entire order correct and our food came out quickly and hot. The coffee was fresh and the cook prepared everything perfectly. I will definitely be returning! Also, the birthday pancakes were adorable.

I really enjoy going to IHOP. It's about 30 miles away from my home, but the trip is worth it. The most challenging part about IHOP is deciding what to order because the menu is extensive and has everything from soups to nuts (including on your pancakes). I always opt for items from the breakfast menu. Their omelets are fantastic and I usually order crepes with ice cream and a meat selection. There's so much food that I always end up taking some home in a doggy bag. It's a great place to dine with excellent service and a very clean restaurant. I just wish it wasn't a 30-mile trip away. We were sitting right at the entrance to their facility. our server ms. crystal was pleasant and nice, she waited for 6 people, 3 adults and 3 children and their imagination never changed. it facilitates digesting the food when a server wants to do its job with excellent. thanks for the creation of workers like frau crystal.
