Ralph's Famous Italian Ices - Merrick

If you don't appreciate Ralph's, then we're probably not on the same page, and you might as well be out of the family! I often think about what life was like before Ralph's opened in Merrick over a decade ago. It's something I eagerly anticipate each spring, and I'm always sad when they close for the winter. There are so many flavors and choices that I could never manage to try them all in one summer!

My wife and I visited this restaurant during the summer, and I must say, the service was quick and efficient. The prices were excellent, and everyone in our group of about ten people had no complaints. The staff members were all smiles and genuinely eager to make sure every customer was satisfied. We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this place for a refreshing break during the summer heat. You can visit anytime; their desserts are sure to be a hit no matter the weather!

Consistently delicious! The only downside is that they're often out of chocolate.

The mango ices are incredible here. You can tell that they are made with a lot of real fruit and they have kept prices very reasonable.

Saturday closing hour is listed as 12AM online. I went there 11:25pm and the young man was closing the store. Made eye contact with me multiple times, but never said anything until a large group of his class mates came and then he finally opened the window to say “We closed at 11:15pm”. The hours need to be updated. I was really looking forward to the ice and haven’t had such poor customer service experiences at other locations, but this turned me off majorly.
