Island Empanada - Merrick

I ordered online and took food for my friend and I. It is a great place to go with friends eating meat because there are many options for them and some for vegans / vegetarians. We have lunch that was nice.

Good vegan and non-vegan options, so good for a fast food style dinner with people with different preferences.

Every single time I order from here they get something wrong and they NEVER send the sauces you choose in the app . If youre ordering spicy empanadas and sour crem they will send red and green sauce instead.

The yellow rice and beans were disgusting. It had no seasoning. It was disgusting. The empanadas were just as nasty as the yellow rice and beans. The guy told me on the phone that the empanadas come from a distributor it’s not even made homemade. So that should tell you something.

Empenadas are so good. Totally recommend, mixed up my barbecue chicken with a Buffalo chicken empenada but it was still really good!
