Gumtree Restaurant - MERREDIN

Definitely stop by this hidden gem on the Great Eastern Highway. The rooms are large, tidy, and tastefully decorated with a charming local print on the wall. The bed is cozy with fresh linens and plenty of pillows. The bathroom is well-lit and has a proper hair dryer. We dined at the restaurant and savored their delicious homemade chicken parmy, expertly cooked.

This fantastic motel has delightful and helpful staff. The rooms are cozy and spotless, with lovely, crisp linens - we had the most restful sleep! We really enjoyed our lasagna accompanied by delicious salads from the salad bar. I highly recommend this place and will certainly be back again.

A mate and I stayed here on a motorcycle trip. It’s a traditional style Motel with parking directly outside your room, which I prefer. The place was renovated, very clean and reasonably priced. The owners are super friendly and accommodating, to the point where they were about to close the restaurant for the evening, but kept it open to make us dinner. The chicken parmi and vegies was very nice and you could tell it was freshly made. Generous servings. Highly recommend this to anyone staying in Merredin.

The new managers Steve Sandy are the type of people that move mountains for there guests. With spacious, modern clean rooms the Merredin Motel is the only place we will stay. The beds are super comfy with nice linen and new windows that block all the noise out!! Feels like a 5 star hotel in the city, while being nestled in the country side! Have had a yummy breakfast from Chef Steve that was filling and affordable. The yummy salad bar isn't to be missed. Tastes great with both the fresh fish or the chicken Parmi. Its very handy having the restaurant as BYO so we could crack a couple of cold beers to!
