Dulcie's Cottage - MERIMBULA

This place was a random online find for eating a bite!! Bf and I were in town just for the night and the mood of this place looked pretty cool on good old Google. When we arrived, we discovered that it was A LOT more, then a few tables and a pop-up van, the burgers fries in a courtyard.... The story of this beautiful place is as charming as the burgers. A house from 1920 with memories and stories from wall to wall, fireplace and a bathroom to die. Not a large selection of options eating wise, but sometimes this is for the best and you don't waste valuable moments loosing in a 10-page menu. The burgers were phenomenal, like AMAZING! Juicy, large portions, great fillings, great sauces, well balanced and simply all round mouth water. The frits were also delicate and fresh, hot crunchy and the perfect amount of salt. It serves cocktails and a wide selection of wine beers!! The atmosphere is part of it. It is great to sit with just your partner in crime or a perfect place for the whole gang, a drink or two to sink and enjoy!! I'll be sure to come back to our next visit

Great atmosphere, dog friendly and baby/kids friendly!! Burger sauce was very tasty and meat was very juicy. Very recommended Definitely come back when I visit this area again!

Warm, welcoming and friendly; Dulcie's has a great mood, interesting beverage selection and some brilliant burgers. The staff was beautiful, and there were great areas to sit inside and outside. It was a great lunch break and a chance for a little breath. The prices were really reasonable and we will be back soon!

Best Burger, Best Staff, Great vibe. Staff exceeded our expectations from the start, great service. George and the team are very helpful and cordial to our request. After our first interaction, which was a mistake (Tech fail, but it is what it is, I am then happier with the out. Amazing burgers, great hassle free service with a fully stocked bar. Lovely little hide away seating with a jacaranda tree (would be beautiful in November) they serve burgers and oysters with a gluten free bun option! Try the secret sauce it's terrific
