Hungry Onion Drive-in - Meridian

Absolutely a classic! I always take my out-of-town friends here. You just can’t find drive-ins like this anymore, with a real car-hop who comes to take your order. The food is fantastic, and the onion rings are nothing short of AMAZING. They serve Green River, and you can buy Coke and Root Beer by the gallon (seriously!), plus their really cool T-shirts are just ten bucks.

Hungry Onion. That sounds strange because I was there at 8 PM and received fantastic service. They were closing as I was leaving around 8:30. It’s a great place to eat with wonderful car hops. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the valley!

I absolutely loved it! I tried their 'spin,’ which is a combination of a shake and a float—delicious! I really enjoy classic old-school drive-ins like this. Forget the chains and support local businesses instead!

If you're searching for a hidden gem of a restaurant, this is the place for you! The food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the bacon cheeseburger, chili cheeseries, and the cheesecake milkshake—it's one of the best spots ever! You don't even have to leave your car to place an order; they will come to you, which is a great perk for visitors who might not be accustomed to the local weather. It's lovely, especially with the air conditioning blowing while they take your order! And don’t forget to try their milkshakes; they have a fantastic variety of flavors to choose from!
