Gandolfo's New York Deli - Meridian

I visited here just last week with my dear friend from out of town. I'm a hot sandwich nut in general, so this is a real easy sell for me. I particularly enjoy their traditional cheese steak sandwiches, and their chilidogs are pretty good too!

This place has awesome food, especially the subs. There are tons of options and the customer service is In point. I way prefer this place over other local sub shops.

Possibly the best deli sandwich I've ever had! Soft bread, thinly sliced meats and cheeses. Everything tasted very fresh. Awesome place!

Average is the best description of my experience. I ordered the double dog special with chili dogs, food was ok but I would expect better from a deli honestly. Buns weren't even toasted. No cheese or onions offered as toppings. Not impressed with the customer service, felt more than a bother than a customer. Witnessed an employee set a carry out order on the shelf with no acknowledgement to the only other customer in the store that it was his food and was ready, just ran to the back. The customer had to go look at the receipt and verify for himself, he looked a little put off at this.Lastly, several employee vehicles were parked directly I. Front of the store :S. Sandwiches look good enough to give this place another chance but I wont be in a hurry to do so

I've been here a few times and each time I get the regular Philly but today lexi talked me into trying the urban cowboy and man it was amazing! Definitely putting it on my list of sandwiches for this place also if you go in the morning Summer has made me some of the best breakfast sandwiches around! My favorite is the Crew on toasted sourdough!
