Los Chingones Dtc - Meridian Station

Salsa was awesome, tacos decent, guacamole was at the end of its life. The atmosphere was good but the service was horrendous. The bartender was dismissive and just tossed menus at us, then the server at the table started ok the disappeared, even though he had to walk around our table to get to the bar. At one point we had empty plates and empty drinks for nearly 30 minutes. The server even stood a few feet from our table talking to the manager (I assume) for a few minutes. I made several successful attempts at eye contact with both of them to no avail, back to ignoring us. What a disappointment of a night ended early by bad service.

We popped in on a whim on a Sunday afternoon.Only three other tables inside the restaurant were seated. The host who had glasses and a mustache made us feel unimportant from the start. No friendly and helpfulness from him.After we were seated we waited too long to have our server of the day come along and greet us and take our order. Although he was friendly, we noticed he was more interested in strolling around the restaurant engaging other employees in conversation. Our drinks took forever to come out and when they did, all we could taste was the margarita mixed that was in them. When I ordered 2 shots of nicer tequila, we had to play the waiting game AGAIN, all while watching our server mosey around the restaurant conversing with his co workers. At that point I had to get up and ask the snooty host if we could get the add on shots we ordered. Come on guys, your restaurant was not busy. There was no sense of urgency coming from the staff on the floor. The chips and guacamole were the highlights of our visit. Won’t be returning to Los Chigasos due to the lack of service we got.La Loma here we come. At least the employees there care about their customer service.

Love this place. My only complaint is that I wish they'd bring back the Paleo tacos!

I’ve been here a number of times over the years and today I’ve decided it’s my last time. The prices have increased consistently while the food taste has gone down considerably. They often change the menu and they just aren’t hitting it for me anymore. The tacos, queso and elote were mediocre and the rice and beans were abysmally bland. I won’t pay for food that I can make better at home

Was in denver for the weekend a week back and stopped in before heading out and got some brunch , was fireeee as we say nowdays. I order the chilaquiles and man were they more than i expected in a good way! Will be back soon!
