This must be one of the best steak sites in newcastle. the choice of steaks is great, perfectly cooked, with changes as they want. good beer with a little craft, could be better with the choice, but not bad. always a rotator or two.
Large pizza for $12. on Monday night, which means that all pizzas are $12 (they must register for a membership, but it is free). pizzas were a decent size and tasted great. general amount of topping and the basic was not as thin as a traditional napoli style pizza, but very nice with crispy crusts. not sure if I would pay regular price for them, although (approximately $14 $19)
I was told that this was the best steak in newcastle and it is absolutely true!
The hotelbar itself draws a lot of punters through the day I suspect they could expect in a local pub with its gambling TVs and machines. the place has entertainment during the evening, the beats hang in the room watching the television. the restaurant eating is so that the prices on the dear side had to buy extra salat, since it did not come with the steak on the way very good steaks but they can not put something green on the teller for these prices. I think one of the top steaks was 64. I know that eating has gone out, I'm just wondering how long I'll afford it. but they can afford to stay here as the room is inexpensive large, clean and comfortable with breakfast. the publican and his wife were very nice, the woman very kind. it is approx. 20 minutes to walk to the meriweather beach directly to burner street. below there is a good eating hangout on the beach above is a fancier glazed at place. looks expensive to me, so it wasn't closer. it is worth to make the coast to foot over the bridge for the excavators and the wolfe st to the hunter St light rail for a look, although this rail seems to usually walk along empty expired shops to the railway terminal. nothing much about this part of newcastle is actually quite deviod by people and really everything. the wlan should be available, I asked about the password and was told that it was in the room, I looked around her walls, paperwork in the room.
