If you're there in a game day, you'll likely find 3 generations of Purdue Alumni rubbing elbows. Fair bar prices, good bar food, and decades of history. If you want to experience Purdue, you'll wait in the line to have a drink or grab some grub here, or your experience will simply not be complete. You might find my name carved in a table in 1982, and find my son's in a post from 2009. Have fun!
It was so terrific to see the Purdue Boilermakers win while sitting in this iconic West Lafayette landmark. The burger was delicious, and the service was amazing. But the atmosphere was electric during the game!!!! I highly recommend it!!!!
I've been here twice, and they've been pretty busy both times, but the service was still great! Food was awesome. Extremely affordable food drinks!
Came in for lunch with my roommate and friend. My roommate has a service dog, and he was obviously with her when we came for lunch. Immediately the bouncer (Jeff) told her that no one can pet him and he can’t sit on the chairs…like obviously he’s a SERVICE DOG. He proceeded to ask the bartender (Allen)what to do with us. The bartender said, and I quote, “we know you have rights but we know ours too! If anyone touches him or he gets off that floor you’re out of here! ALL OF YOU ARE OUT OF HERE!” And he yelled this at us. Then the bouncer asked for our ID’s so we gave him our ID’s and he looked at them. And then he asked for a second form and as we were getting them out he said in an incredibly annoyed and pissed off tone “************.”My roommate just turned 21 the other day and we were told that Harry’s has great food so we just wanted to have lunch and celebrate. We were not prepared for the rudeness and angriness shown by the staff as soon as we opened the door.Otherwise our waitress, who was on her fourth shift, was incredibly nice.
