Stars Drive-in - Mercedes

My food was served as requested lady taking the order with an attitude (4/20/24 @4:20pm) requested my meal as wanted was directed YOU HAVE TO WAIT 5 MORE MINUTES. We ate what she wanted.Calling corporate office Monday morning.

Just came to the Mercedes location the workers were great I feel that there pay is too little on what they have to do they go inside charge but I can’t give them a tip cause I don’t have a option on the receipt another thing is notice that a lot of the items have gone up in price if your gonna increase the prices increase the workers pay as well I use to work in the progreso location and it hasn’t changed where you put the large pan of water you cook up the meat and you put the meat in the water and you leave it there until somebody orders the meals then you just reheat the meat and you sell it not fresh at all you guys need to change that method your gonna get somebody sick or killed from food poisoning this is why I don’t ever get any burgers from stars cause of the way you cook them and people who are gonna read this it is the truth and I have friends who work there as well and tell me the same thing

Had been craving Stars in Mercedes Texas for some time.... they usually do well with my food order, this time around was different.... they exceeded my expectations, thanks for the great food and wonderful service. I'll be coming back for sure! Prices have changed, but not just for Stars, ppl need to remember that.

I miss the old fries that Stars used to sell. The new ones taste old and reheated. I recommend the tater tots instead ? The food is a bit expensive considering the quality. The burgers are messy, and the lettuce and pickles typically look old and soggy. Taste wise, it's okay. I usually go with the chicken tender dinner box #13) because it comes with two onion rings. Or, at least it's supposed to)The food is okay, but it could be better for the price. Some quality control is greatly needed!The ordering stations need to be fixed already!!
