Sushi Cuisine - Merced

There is a sign saying short staffed. But with almost a full house we are getting good service. Our food came pretty quick. Very good tempura. Tuna rolls pretty small. Very little Wasabi. That's really just nit picking though. Come check this place out. Maybe I'll see you when I come back. Cause I'm commin back

This meal was not great. It was violently overpriced, the fish was low quality (at best) , or improperly cared for or both. Everyone that dined here got sick. We all ate different items, and all of us were sick. Forgive me for the crassness and forgive me if it is TMI. But all of us crapped our guts out. We ALL begged for death on the toilet after we ate here. ALL of us. We all begged for death. Sushi Cuisine is wildly overpriced. The fish quality is well below industry standards, and service is a 1 out of 10. The fish quality is ...reprehensible. It should never be served to a human, let alone for that price and with such poor service. The ambiance was ridiculous. It was so busy, and I can only imagine all those people also got sick from the low quality fish and poor service. I will never return. And I 'll make it a point to prevent anyone else from experiencing the suffering that comes from dining at this atrocious place... it 's not even a restaurant eat here only if you hope to crap your guts out, or get sick from poor quality fish.

The Dragon roll has the one of my favorite rolls to eat at Sushi Cuisine! Service was quick and the food came out in a timely manner. The servers were attentive to anything that we needed help with. Even though it's a smaller space, it doesn't get loud and gives off a homey feel; especially with the Halloween decorations that were hung up.

This place was my to go for sushi but I don't think I'll be coming back. The last few times the sushi cuts are much smaller even tho prices went up.

Have been coming here for almost 8 years and they never disappoint. Busy Friday night and there was great and attentive customer service! Not only did I feel seen, but I didn't feel as though I was bothering anyone when I asked for anything during our dinner tonight. It was great, and such a clean atmosphere. We ordered a lot of food tonight and were not disappointed with that or the wine! Thank you for all being friendly with the gluten free transparency and options.
