I ordered a tortta with El Pastor. The pastor was Blande and the French Pommes could have stayed a little longer in the frit. I ordered a Coors and told it twice and they still brought me a Coor's light. The food music was good, but something too loud to have a pleasant conversation.
Eating was okay, I think the name of my server was Karla. She was friendly first, then after she was thrown away my food, they didn't disappear to check me or her other tables. Sad service to say that was my first and last time to eat there.
The service was ok; the interactions themselves were fine, but the waitress came to check us and the food once and it was 3 or 4 minutes after we had been served, and then we had to wait a while until they are available to us to ask for the check (and the restaurant was not busy at all, occupied with only maybe 2 other tables next to ours). The food was disappointing and it feels bad to say because I always want to support Mexican restaurants whenever I can, but that should not be representative of good Mexican food. The decor was also everywhere in the square; it saw part bar, part dance / nightclub, part seafood restaurant, and they had some strange ad with handbags / purses and perfumes near the entrance that open their price tags. I think they still had Christmas decorations.
Try the taco enchilada combo. It's great! Visiting from Tejas.
