Ferrante's - Mequon

Since I moved here in July 2010, I found a home at Ferrantes! From the moment I went to the door, I fell in love with her food and staff. You should all go to this restaurant!!! Try the baked chicken... the chicken greek salad... the Calamari and all the specialties!

Can't say enough of this place It felt like home, people were so friendly, many regulars. The bartender worked there for 40 years (Since what he said), but still a long time and he was fantastic! The garlic bread is so good! The pasta could use more taste, but still good. I'll be back before I go!

It was not good. They messed up all our dinners Calzone was awful not to mention the chix and veal piccada. Let me rebut. So I have been delighted by my latested experiences. They aim to please. I give them 5 stars. Bill and the crew are there for the massed. Thx guys.

Was very nice also very busy we arrived about 5:30pm Was seated right away but after we were seated in about 15min it really got busy. Me and my wife had the beer batter cod which was very good. All of the dishes that came by us looked very good.

I recently visited Port Road Pizza in Mequon, an Italian restaurant that I find myself drawn to, though I can't quite pinpoint why. The service was bright and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that I appreciated. There’s something oddly comforting about the familiar yet slightly outdated decor. Most of the dishes I tried had room for improvement, but overall they were acceptable. The pizza was decent, although the sauce could benefit from a touch of lemon and garlic. The burger was a bit small, but it was satisfactory, especially with the fresh vegetables included. The salad, while composed of good ingredients, felt somewhat dry. As for the calamari, I was quite disappointed. What I received consisted mostly of large pieces of breading, with at least 50% of it being bread rather than the seafood I was hoping for. Overall, I would rate this experience around 3.5 out of 5. Depending on the perspective, it could be as low as 2.5 or as high as 4.0, but I think 3.1 might be more accurate.
