O' Sole Mio - Menton

After trying in the noon duo (menu 1 and in group, currently the best chin pizza, fast and pleasant service. in group we were plac in the basement which is a little noisy. a strong recommendation.

In November 2021, we enjoyed this restaurant. We returned there in March 2022 and were disappointed. Pizza not cooked enough, panacotta without interest, less attentive service, shouting tv for a football match.

It looked great from the outside but the staff prioritised locals and ignored us. We wanted to order desserts and more drinks but sat for half an hour with empty plates and no attention. No tip and won’t be going back.

An absolute disgrace. We live in Menton (not French) and have had a couple of take away s from here in the last couple of years which have been ok . Decided to go one lunchtime. It was quiet, 3 tables in total). Three tables arrived after us and were served before us. Waiting staff ignored us. When we questioned this we were told to leave. Staff are rude and agressive. This restaurant makes Menton look bad. We had a lucky escape. Crazy prices for pizza and 6€50 for water!! If you want great pizza and service at a third of the price cross into Italy. You won’t be disappointed.
