The servers were friendly and smiling despite a crazy world. The bakery is beautiful, very well garnished, many choices. We bought three sandwiches and we enjoyed it! I dream of the same bakery in Avignon thanks to your professionalism
I had the pain d'epice. It was dry and stale. Like you would get in the day old section at a supermarket. My wife had a pain Chocolat that was bizarre. Not like others she has had, and not in a good way. My opinion is that it caters to tourists with mediocre food.
Bakery and coffee were so good and tasty Must try.. all kind of tarts are available . Very friendly stuff and great quality
I really don't know where all those bad reviews come from. The boulangerie itself has very convenient location (easy to get to from the train station and to grab sth on the go before hoping on the train, which is exactly what we did! . We visited just before closing, there was some typical danish left (like croissants, chocolate buns , but the desserts assortiment (very nicely exposed ! made us literally mouth water. We hesitated a bit, as the choice was enormous, but gave a Tartellete aux Framboises and a Heaven in a Pot (my personal name, don't remember how's called a try. We chose a take away option as we were hurry to catch our train and had our treats on board. Sooooo delish !!! Especially my choice, composed of many creamy layers (dark chocolate /cookies n' cream/ hazelnut milk chocolate/ salted caramel melting all together in the mouth and matching one another perfectly !!! Sorry for my pictures I just took time enjoying it and didn't care too much to make it more instagrammable :D But trust me, this dessert is one of the best, boulangerie based I had recently. AN ABSOLUTE MUST TRY!
Personnel of extreme kindness. Every day, my little coffee, every day so attentive. Great bread. yesterday, pavlova, to fall! Last week lemon pie. I've never been disappointed and I've been there since the opening.
