Applebee's Grill - Menomonie

After my man and I were sitting by the host, waited for 15 minutes for the waiting staff. we have the attention if a waitress who was not assigned to our table but would like to wait for us. the food was delicious! the manager visited our table and bought our dinner drinks! we did not complain or asked to speak with him. he was so nice. what began as “not good” experience turned into a very pleasant evening. we're going back. the restaurant business can be difficult for managers and employees to time that this was well treated.

For 10 people, a table was called and they could accommodate us. the staff was super friendly, delicious. even tho there was a light mix with my salate; they have my meal, which, I very much appreciated.

Absolutely the most awkward and uncomfortable experience we have ever had going to Applebees. The wait staff was very inappropriate, lacked professionalism, customer service and manors! Nothing more disturbing then having a wait staff stand there watch you eat! And then while our waiter was away another girl takes over and says, “I’ll be your server now as T has been cut!” Weird because T was still there for the remainder of the time we were there. Then she had to ask if we had any orders in yet and what they were! They our food came out…. It was poorly cooked and prepared! It looked like it was snapped on there like a school lunch! Garlic mashed potatoes scooped on with a ice cream scoop not even presentable and then I asked for butter… she tossed it on my plate and it was frozen and had ice chunks in it! It was so uncomfortable last night there that my husband I felt as if we were in the twilight zone. The most unprofessional and immature environment we have experienced in any place we’ve been out to eat! I don’t know what’s changed at Applebees but we’ve been frequent fliers for 10years and never ever had a complaint until now! Also there was approx 15 wait staff and they would follow in 3s 4s and the place was NOT busy by all means.

The best! I come from eau claire to go to this and the service is always impeccable and they can not beat the prices for the portion sizes. many flyers
