I tried the Bo Ne, and it was so delicious that I didn’t even think to add chili garlic oil until the end—once I did, it made the dish even better! The service was excellent as well; we arrived first and got our food right away, which is not always the case at other places.
We had a fantastic dinner! We ordered the spring rolls, Bahn Mi sandwich, and lemongrass chicken. The spring rolls were tasty, though not exceptional. The Bahn Mi was delightful—the bread was wonderfully soft on the inside and perfectly crunchy on the outside. The lemongrass chicken turned out to be quite spicy, but it was flavorful and delicious. We definitely plan to return to try more dishes and the bubble teas.
Everything had a sweet flavor to it. This worked well for the pork bahn mi, but the beef pho was just too sweet. I requested extra lime for the pho and asked for no bubbles in my drinks, but neither of those requests were fulfilled. The dipping sauce for the egg roll and crab rangoon was disappointing as well. However, since my husband enjoyed his sandwich and likes sweeter foods, I’m willing to give this place another shot in the future and sample some different menu items.
The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I ordered the large special pho, and it arrived piping hot. The broth was just right—not too sweet and not too dark. What I appreciated most was the generous portion of beef brisket; I almost had a piece with every bite of noodles, which is quite rare. The total for one large bowl of pho came to $14 plus some change. I highly recommend this place for pho, especially for anyone new looking to enjoy a great first experience. Bring your friends and family along! Enjoy!
I've visited this restaurant before and enjoyed it, but my recent takeout experience was disappointing. I ordered a meal that seemed like a half portion and cost $17. I'm not sure if I'll return, even though the hostess was extremely friendly. Additionally, they packed everything so tightly in one bag that the vegetables ended up sideways and made the bag soggy, causing it to break and resulting in us losing all of our fried rice. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for a total of $60.
