I appreciate that Eric uses fresh vegetables, as it really makes a difference in the taste. Additionally, there are various options for my family members who prefer chicken and beef dishes.
I had a very positive experience with the customer service at this deli near my workplace. The owner provided timely and excellent service as I explored options for catering meetings. I ordered the New York Steak sandwich, although I had hoped for ribeye which was not available at the time. The sandwich was flavorful, especially with the caramelized onions and sautéed mushrooms. The potato salad was good, although I was not a fan of the large potato pieces. I appreciated the mustard in the salad which balanced out the mayo. I also tried the cucumber salad, which had a nice flavor profile but lacked uniformity in ingredient size. It was difficult to get a bite with a bit of everything in the salad.
I am shocked by the pastrami sandwich I received from Eric's Gourmet. It was advertised as "piled high" but only had a single layer of meat. I paid $17 for that sandwich! The turkey sandwich was even more expensive at $18, and I had to pay an additional $2.50 for just two thin slices of avocado. I understand that food prices are increasing, but this feels like taking advantage of customers. This kind of pricing will only result in losing customers in the long run.
Ham sandwich and turkey sandwich are delicious !
