Axel's River Grille Mendota

The service was excellent, but the food was just average, and the place itself is quite outdated and has an unpleasant odor. I won't be returning.

The food was excellent, as always. It was busier than usual, which resulted in longer wait times for our meals. The waitress was faultless; she did her best under the circumstances. It seemed like the kitchen might have been overwhelmed and possibly short-staffed. Despite that, I still highly recommend this place. Just try to avoid peak hours, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The food was outstanding, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely return.

Waitress was terrible. Didn’t get the drinks right. Slow service food was cold. We’ve been tu Axel’s many times but this one didn’t meet the mark
