La Campagna - Mendip

An American traveled to visit family in Bath and found the perfect food they were looking for in England. Everything was top-notch.

My experience at La Campagna last night was fantastic! The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff was excellent - attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food was delicious with generous portions, and they even provided a box for my daughter to take home her leftover pizza. Families, couples, and friends were all enjoying this gem of a restaurant. We will definitely be returning to take advantage of the lovely gardens in the summer. Despite being open for less than a year, it is already well-known for its quality food and great service, as evidenced by how busy it was last night. We can't wait for our next visit!

This Italian restaurant is my favorite place to dine. I always enjoy trying new dishes and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh and the service is quick. I recently discovered their mussels, which I highly recommend. The large antipasti platter for sharing was also delicious and made with fresh ingredients.

We ate in restaurant a few years ago and it was excellent, we noticed that they did takeaway, so we thought we would give it a bit. we had carbonara and the chicken, paprika and mushrooms in creamy parmesan sauce with a side of scrubbing garlic bread. it was all excellent and hot when we got it home. really good prices and a lot of choice. we're coming back!

Wonderful meal with a great selection and beautifully cooked. Very friendly service and despite the restaurant being packed out on a Saturday night, the staff went to great lengths to find us a quieter spot (we're not spring chickens as you can probably guess! Food served promptly and always with a smile. We live in Herts but will definitely visit again next time we're over.
