Flavours of Forest - Mendarda

I highly recommend The Lodge to anyone planning to visit Gir Forest. They offer a luxurious yet environmentally friendly stay that truly justifies the cost. The restaurant serves excellent food, and the manager, Mr. Hitesh, was very courteous and accommodating to our preferences. They even screened fascinating documentaries about Gir. You must stay here during your visit.

Name flavours of Forest we find very unique, it is a restaurant in Asiatic Lion Lodge near to Club Mahindra Gir. We stayed at Club Mahindra Gir and tried one dinner at Flavours of Forest, Food is very delicious and service is very good. We took full meal option which is very well priced, food is not very oily and spicy. We took lunch on the other day also. Over all nice experience. If one is stayed at Club Mahindra Gir trying this Flavours of Forest is recommended.

I recently stayed at Asiatic Lion Lodge and I must say, the accommodations and food were absolutely fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly as well.

We have been to sasan gir with family and stayed there for two nights. Stayed at Asiatic Lion Lodge, Enjoyed food at their Restaurant Flavours of Forest. Food is good. They have prepared Kathiawadi/Gujarati food specially for our demand. Khichdi Kurry is too good & they made Sukhdi a traditional Gujarati Sweet is a treat. Enjoyed food.

Host was kind and suggested us the near abouts. Food was good and Hitesh ensured that we are comfortable. Heads up for that. Definitely an experience to have.
