Strano Sicilian Kitchen - Memphis

Looked up restaurant online for Valentine’s Day, did not advertise a valentines menu, came in and they did not have any regular menu options, their online menu says they charge 20% gratuity on parties of 6 and more. I had one date and the 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. We paid $200 for strawberries and spinach, beef and Brussels sprouts, and a piece of cheesecake.

Great food, but only ok service. Ended up being a two hour meal. Will go back again for a second try.

We took friends out for a birthday dinner on a recent Saturday night. Service was pleasant and food was good as always. My halibut, the fish special of the day, was perfectly cooked and delicious. My husband's steak was a little underdone, but he said the flavor was good. I'm rather sorry they have announced they are planning to move further east, but we will still probably go occasionally when we are in the mood for a more upscale Italian dining experience.

You can’t get service anywhere else like you do at Strano’s..Best restaurant in Memphis hands down!!

My 2nd visit and decider to come for birthday and Sunday brunch. The only thing that made me rank the way I did was due to the slow refills of endless mimosas. We paid $15 for endless but only got 3 glasses. The waitress did not come back to refill after 1250p even with the brunch ending at 2p. When we got our waitress and asked she said they were out of champagne. We asked for another drink and she said they were out of everything. That's rude and wrong. We asked for manager by seat attendant and was told they were not there. We did not receive a discount so my party of 7 left after paying our tab...it seems when we all paid our tab which gratuity was included around 1230p that is when we noticed our waitress did not come back. Disappointed and will not recommend.
