Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Memphis

The Spicy Chicken Sandwich Combo was not good at all. the chicken was saturated in grease like it had been sitting in grease for a minute. They also sent me mashed potatoes instead of the fries that I requested and the tea was waaayyyyy too sweet. The only thing I was able to eat was the Oreo Cheesecake Cup ... it was pretty decent. I'm probably not going to order from this location in the future

Melasse is quicker than a chicken running to get in this line! I ordered online for pickup at 4:45 PM. They don't allow you to pick up inside the restaurant. You just have to wait outside. I ended up picking up my order an hour later. They should ensure that the food is hot. Unfortunately, mine was only warm. I had to reheat it when I got home. Customer service is not a priority here. They weren't very friendly. If it's not Sunday, you might want to try the chicken here, but otherwise, just go to Chick-fil-A.

I give this restaurant one star. I used them to order pickup and it was a long wait in Memphis. The family meal cost almost $40 and it was not worth it. It felt like being at a slow KFC. Popeyes needs to improve the support of their workers because they are essential to the business.

When I arrived in the parking lot, a man missing most of his teeth who worked at the restaurant appeared. He seemed to be taking a break from his duties to inform me that I couldn't park there. I thought he was going to open the door for me, but instead he seemed to have been waiting his whole life to tell me that I couldn't park there, even though he didn't actually say it. The atmosphere in the area, with the nearby stores and Lenny's next door, seemed to have put him in a bad mood. At least the younger man inside the restaurant was able to communicate with me, unlike the toothless man outside.

I tried the new 6-piece Ghost Pepper Wings combo with a side of Cinnamon Apple Pie and the food was fantastic.
