Maciel's Tortas Tacos (midtown)

The patio is a great place to hang out and enjoy a taco. Indoor is nice but small and can get loud if busy.

Everything I've gotten here has hit the spot, for years. Literally everything. You can't go wrong ordering from this place. Eat in, and get free chips and salsa. Great patio. I gravitate toward shrimp dishes, and their torta, salad, burrito, and tacos are spot on. I also love their fried avocado tacos and chicken chipotle soup (just tried that because I had a cold, and I'm pretty sure it healed me within hours). Don't walk, run.

I ordered some tacos , asada, birria and carnitas . The asada was basically boiled meat . Not even a mark of the grill . Birria was very disappointing flavorless. And the tortillas were as robbery and some of the worst tortillas I’ve ever in counter. However the service was awesome. Nice and friendly also very clean .

The Tinga taco and agua de Jamaica were delicious!! Cute little atmosphere and exceptional customer service!!
