Happy Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

This place is run down and disgusting. Loud vulgar music playing and people obnoxiously dancing. This is not a family restaurant. I ordered a spinach quesadilla without the mushroom, noting that I have a horrible allergy. They ended up bringing me a rotten quesadilla WITH mushroom on it. Im so thankful I did a look and smell test or I would've ended in the hospital. The waitress did not take time to apologize she only said ?oops I can bring you something else?. Its crazyto me that a hispanic actually owns this restaurant. Take the good reviews with a grain of salt and trust the bad ones. Do not come to this restaurant.

They won?t let you sit on the patio anymore due to people running off without paying their checks so that took away from the whole reason we went there

I haven 't been to this location in a while, but it was nice. A group of us went around 2pm. The server was very nice, and the food was fresh. Needless to say it 's Happy Mexicans so shots of tequila was going around at our table. There is always one person that has to start drinking. LOL! We really enjoyed ourselves because there weren 't many patrons there. We beat the crowd and the heat. We were seated quickly for a party of 9, due to being there early in the day. Also, wewere still able to social distance and the facility was CLEAN! We will be returning.

LARGE portions, great prices! The environment was a little loud, but thats because someone was celebrating a birthday! The drinks LOOKED amazing(my sister said they're very good) I can't say for the taste as I can't drink! Overall a good experience, the only reason I gave 4 stars is because of how LOUD it was, and we couldn't hear our own conversations. Nice place, friendly staff though!

This place was amazing!! It truly deserves 5 stars, and I don?t know what is going on in some of these reviews! They have huge margaritas that genuinely taste awesome AND are strong for great prices! And that would?ve been enough to convince me they were great, and then the food was equally awesome on top of that! Seriously soooo tasty, fresh ingredients, perfect amount of spice, huge portions? the photo speaks for itself but I still have to say it! And service wasquick, attentive, and friendly. I don?t often take the time to write a review but this place was one of the best recommendations I got in Memphis, fully exceeded expectations, and should have way better reviews, so there?s no way I couldn?tshare that!
