Captain D's - Memphis

Sat in drive-thru for over an hour!! Why? I have no clue what compelled me to do so, guess I just felt I was too far in to back out. And it may have been 4 or 5 cars ahead of me. And if it took me this long to get my food, rest assured those behind me did as well. And as time of typing this, I haven't gotten my food ???? First time going to this location but I will be very hesitant to return sadly. After an hour and a half, I left! Edit: just in case it's not fully apparent, I never got my food. Figured I'd spent enough gas and time, that's more than what I would have paid.

I love Captain D's so much that I don't mind waiting knowing that they cook good to order so it kinda takes a minute or two, but this time the line moved steadily. When I got my food if course it was so hot and fresh from the shrimp to the okra, nothing was overcooked or undercooked. I hate that there's not that many in the city cause it is good food.

Rarely do they forget an item, such as a condiment. I've never had an order that was wrong or disappointing. It's always been right and fast service, but occasionally they may forget a condiment you requested. Perfection is hard, but their close. Always very clean inside as well. Kudos

I haven't eaten at a captain D's in 20 years. It was actually really good. I got the 3 piece fish. It was nice and crispy outside and fish was nicely cooked inside.

Rude person on speaker. I start out the order request stating I have a coupon and read the information as 2 piece fish free with purchase of a 2 piece and large drink. The woman kept cutting me off talking about a 3 piece. I then spelled F R E E. Twice I had to spell. I wasn 't confused about my statement and the speaker was working just fine. Finally she gets it and in a nasty tone says, Have your coupon ready! . I get to the window and show coupon on phone. She rudely exclaims, She gotta coupon on the phone. Meanwhile, another woman comes to the window to get the phone. She almost dropped my phone! She dropped the site from where I had the coupon so I had to look it up once more. After getting my phone for the transaction and giving it back to me, another woman, maybe manager asks for the phone. I said she 'd just gotten the coupon from the phone. She told me it was needed again. The younger woman then said she had it. The older woman was saying I had an attitude to the other 2 women. Highly unprofessional for a possible manager. I was met with rude attitude from the time I placed a simple order. Seems I was served the smallest pieces of fish. If you 're a regular Captain D 's patron, you know these are not the average size pieces of fish. If this continues, I 'll be visiting Captain D 's far less. The tea was watered down and full of extra ice. Terrible Service on this visit and very small pieces of fish. I can 't say I recommend Captain D 's location on Hacks Cross, Memphis, Tennessee.
