Bluefin - Memphis

I was not pleased with the price, service, or quality of food. Our waiter was not very professional or trained. It took forever to get our drinks, take our order and get food. The prices were way too high for the amount of food received. And it did not taste good at all! The rolls were not worth the order. Small and thrown together. The shrimp fried rice in the picture below was the size of a small appetizer for $15.99. It taste like soy sauce that's it... No real flavor!This place has really gone down! Negative rating if possible. I left a large tip because I just didn't have the time to wait for change. Everything else took so long. I didn't have the time to fuss about the service or food either.

My children and I visited this restaurant to celebrate my son's 16th birthday, and we were blown away by the food, particularly the sushi rolls. It's been a few years since our last visit, and while it seems the restaurant is under new ownership, they haven't missed a beat. We had the entire top floor to ourselves, which made for a lovely experience. We will definitely be back. If you go, you must try the sushi rolls—they're absolutely incredible!

I celebrated my queen's birthday around noon yesterday, July 19th, and I must say, I was quite impressed. We arrived early and were fortunate enough to be the first customers of the day. We ordered the BB King roll, the Sexy roll, and some sesame-seeded chicken. Everything was prepared to perfection. If you're in Memphis and looking for a special place with great food and ambiance, this restaurant receives my highest recommendation. We plan to keep coming back as long as they're in business. The staff was incredibly hospitable and attentive. Don't forget to check out their hibachi in the evenings!

The restaurant boasts a prime location with outdoor seating that's perfect for people-watching on this busy main street. The service was prompt, but overall, nothing particularly impressed me about the place. I ordered a sushi roll, but it never arrived because my server forgot to place the order. He mentioned it while bringing the check and offered it to go, but I wasn't keen on having sushi at room temperature.

I believe this restaurant deserves a higher rating than its current average on Google. We searched for a place in the city center that was open (we tried three times) and we were not disappointed. Although the staff was a bit stretched thin, they did an excellent job of recommending dishes and assisting us with everything we needed. We ordered a bibimbap bowl and a poke bowl, and both were delicious. If I lived in Memphis, I would definitely come back!
