Fredi The Pizzaman - Melvindale

After a bit of a wait, we finally made it to Fredi's and it was worth it. The pizza here has a taste that rivals those found in a New York pizzeria. The sauce was just right, the fresh mozzarella was delicious, and the crust tied everything together perfectly. An amazing pizza experience!

I saw the BarStool review (love him) and decided to drive 25 minutes to take my family on a Saturday. It was just as good as they said! The system was efficient and the service was friendly. We tried the Fredi pizza and it was delicious. I wanted to thank him for his charitable work for children with autism, but he was busy. I used some insulated bags to keep it warm, but I'm sure it's best eaten right away. The basil added a nice touch, the crust was herby, and the sauce was flavorful - all top notch. The pepperoni also had a great taste. You don't need to call ahead, just order and it's made fresh. There wasn't a long wait, but it's busier during the week. We'll definitely come back when we visit Greenfield Village/Henry Ford Museum with the family.

I discovered this restaurant through the One Bite app by Barstool and I am upset that I didn't find it sooner! It was definitely worth the trip to try their pizza. The staff there are some of the friendliest people I have met, and it gives off a cozy, local vibe that they want to share with others but also keep to themselves. The pizza was excellent all around - give it a try!

I wish I had taken photos too fast. that's just because fredis pizza ingeniously tastes! they were hot, fresh and crispy. also we had a decent fast waiting despite ordering 3 pizzas. I also like this place to support autism consciousness. a frieze said that the cheese tasted kind of salty, but they liked it overall. good place, good NY pizza.

Thin, almost cracker like, with and excellent char! One of the best NYC pies I've had outside of NYC! LOVE how the owner supports Autism and even has a Charity you can donate too(please check Fredi's Website) back to the Pizza! I would more than two to three items on them(they're that thin) the taste was light, sauce had a good seasoning to it, not too tangy, toppings were fresh and the cheese was top notch! We had a Margherita and a Mushroom pie. I'd be here everyday if I lived closer! Congratulations Fredi!
