Morelia Taqueria - Melrose Park

This family-owned couple has been operating this restaurant for nearly 30 years. They are extremely friendly, and the food is consistently delicious! I highly recommend it if you're in search of authentic Mexican dishes.

The food is quite good! I recommend trying the lasrachs with pastor; they’re a unique blend of pizza and tacos. The staff is friendly, but be prepared for a long wait, so it’s a good idea to call in your order ahead of time.

Authentic and Delicious Mexican Food with Friendly Owners and Staff

First time there. I had the sope de chicharrón. The sope was fresh and from the grill not fried. The chicharrón was good, it good use a little more spice. But they had salsa roja on the side to add it. But would definitely will go back for another sope.

Huaraches are huge, about the size of a medium pizza. It is a little bland plain so you need sour cream and hot sauce at least.
