Smitty's Family - Melfort

Great food served quickly. We came with a large group and we all got our meals quickly.

Staff were super busy but i could tell they connected w alot of their customers.

Judging by how absolutely packed this place was on Sunday, you can definitely tell that Melfort Smitty's runs like a beast. Although it was heckin' busy, we were seated quickly, our waiter was super cool and we had our food in no time. Me? I got the Western skillet, breaking another 36 hour fast and it hit the void, perfectly, that I had consciously created over the last day and a half.Yes, Melfort Smitty's, you are a shining beacon of hope, a harbinger of excellent breakfasts and brunches to come.AND, I love that you have your Google hours updated to reflect the days which you are open (unlike some other breakfast-y diner-y places we drove all the way to Melfort for, whose Google info said they were Open at 10 when, in fact, they were not.)Melfort Smitty's, I love you and I hope you never change. Keep on keepin' on!

This was a truly dreadful meal. Our waitress was a very surly, older woman who was very unpleasant. We had breakfast, which was very big, very greasy and essentially tasteless. Ended up mostly eating toast and having coffee. Our silverware was unclean, and when she brought replacements, it was also sticky with something. Avoid.

Fries with gravy $8.50. 2 clubs with fries $40. Decent food, but the prices are bonkers.
