Along with the sweet and spicy pineapple fried rice, it really hit the spot when I was feeling tired and frazzled. It’s too expensive at almost $20 per dish though.
I tried only the vegan Buddha bowl. The broth was fresh and tasty, not spicy at all (as the menu stated) so the addition of some chilli oil and chopped green chilli at home was perfect for my taste. Good serving size and plenty of fresh green veggies and tofu. They do have a more extensive vegan menu now than I’ve seen in the past.
What there was of vegan food was very poorly executed. My deep fried tofu was over fried and no seasoning what so ever. Was that over cooked tamari couldn’t even soak in a little m My satay salad was Bean Shoots a little tomato and coriander with a satay dressing in a ramekin. Very basic and tasteless food.
Need more vegan options. There is a vegan yellow curry, a vegan salad and roti. There seems to also be 2 vegan desserts. Need more vegan main meal options.
The vegan dishes at this restaurant were poorly executed. My deep-fried tofu was overcooked and lacked seasoning. The tamari sauce was overpowering. The satay salad consisted of bean sprouts, a few tomatoes and coriander with a bland satay dressing. Overall, the food was simple and lacked flavor.
