Manchipster - Melbourne

I worked for this man briefly. He was the most horrendous employer I have ever come across. He was abusive, slimey and extremely crude to female employees. Always making mistakes with orders and blaming others. He would forget to order new stock and blamed other people for it. The way he spoke to both staff and employees was sickening. One night during closing he drunkenly tried to get me to go back to his flat with him. After refusing for the 5th or so time I went home having cleaned down and finished all the end of day duties. He refused to answer any of my calls regarding my following shifts. I had to in the end show up at the shop with my boyfriend to demand my wages. His excuse for 'sacking' me was that I 'left work early' on my previous shift. Pathetic and disgusting excuse of a man.

Went there in June 2016 Colde reheated fries The boss is rude and not polite. With staff and some guests. Unprofessional The food is really simple. 30 minutes to get an order is scandalous Avoid the trap

The Manager-Owner assists with the food prep. When an order was placed for a Halal Snack Pack (kebab with chips) at 1:45pm, usually you'd expect the order to take 15-20 minutes. (It's fast food after all)When it was 2:20pm, and the order still hadn't arrived, a complaint was made where the Manager-Owner became quite aggressive, insisting that they've had a 'full house' of patrons and brushing off the 35 minute wait.A photo was taken for the intents for a food blog/review, after which the manager walked up to my face and continued to take photos (very personally invasive) and in a threatening and abusive manner. He quoted, that he had made 430 orders - and how no one cares about internet reviews.For the sake of the community's safety and security, please do not confront the manager-owner if you ever intend on eating at this establishment. If you do, be prepared for the wait time and poor service.

My four friends and I all ordered a snack pack each for lunch. We sat outside and waited. Was over 10 minutes before the first came out, which was on the cold side. Tasted good but could have been better if it was hot. The remaining four snack packs came out staggered over the next 15 minutes. Wasn't the best as the first was finished before the last came out. Also realised people who came in after us were receiving their meals before us. Overall Friendly staff and tasty food but Faster service would have been appreciated

Have had their fish and their veggie burgers a few times - really lovely staff, yummy food, good chips, in this soccer themed restaurant with George Orwell quotes on the wall. Always a good meal at Manchipster.
