Ajisai Sushi Dumpling Braeside

Prior to the covid-19 restrictions, I frequented this restaurant 1-4 times a week for lunch or dinner. The server always remembers my order and provides excellent service. The sushi nigiri here is the best in the entire area, even when ordering takeout during the pandemic. I truly adore this establishment and make sure to visit at least once a week to support them during these challenging times. It would be a significant loss for the community if they were forced to close due to the pandemic. I highly recommend this place for you, your family, friends, or even for a date night. The restaurant is always clean and well-prepared for their busiest times of the day. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone, even those who may not typically enjoy sushi - they will surely be converted after trying this place.

There was an abundance of rice compared to the other ingredients in the sushi. The sushi was decent. The delivery service was good. This meal was for dinner and cost about A$80–100 per person. The food was rated a 2 out of 5 and the service was rated a 4 out of 5. I recommend the Seaweed Salad.

This Japanese restaurant is absolutely adorable! I absolutely adore their unagi don dish.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant. The Agedashi tofu did not come with its sauce and the tofu itself was not edible. The teriyaki chicken was average and the katsu curry was very disappointing. It was a waste of time and money. Takeout service was rated as 1 out of 5. The average price per person for dinner was A$20–40.
