We started with onion bajji and it was so crispy! The chicken Madras had so much flavor and we absolutely loved the chicken Tikka! Garlic naan was a nice accompaniment and our food also came with a huge serving of aromatic basmati rice! We will most definitely be back!!!!
Absolutely phenomenal food with outstanding service! We tried the Aloo Gobi Masala and Dal Tadka, and both dishes were bursting with flavor—truly delicious!
The tomato soup is my new favorite thing in Indian cuisine. Savory, vinegary, and very cilantro-forward. This is now my go-to appetizer here!
I recently dined at taste of India Melbourne, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. We arrived around 9 PM and placed our order, well within the restaurant’s operating hours since it closes at 10 PM. Despite this, the waiter Januario seemed in an unusual hurry. Not only was he rushing us through the meal, but he also exhibited rude behavior by grabbing our plates while we were still eating. This was particularly surprising as there were still other guests in the restaurant at the time. A little more patience and courtesy would have greatly improved our dining experience. I hope the management addresses this issue, as it significantly affected our evening.
I recently visited Taste of India in Melbourne and was disappointed by the overall experience, particularly the service provided by one of your staff members, Januario. While the food was okay, it didn’t stand out as anything special. However, what really affected our visit was Januario’s rude and unprofessional behavior. He repeatedly removed plates from our table without checking if we were done, which was disruptive and inconsiderate. When we politely expressed our dissatisfaction with his service, he responded with a sarcastic and rude “Thank you,” which was entirely inappropriate. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your establishment. I hope that management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues to ensure better service in the future.
